CLEANING SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: August 19, 2026
These Cleaning Service Terms & Conditions (“Service Terms”) apply to cleaning services provided by TLCleaning Group LLC (“TLCleaning Group LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By scheduling, approving, accepting, or allowing cleaning services to begin, the customer (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges and agrees to these Service Terms, together with any applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, service agreement, or other written scope of work.
1. Scope of Services
TLCleaning Group LLC provides professional cleaning services based on the service package, estimate, proposal, work order, or scope approved by the Client.
Only services specifically included in the approved scope are included in the quoted price.
Services outside the agreed scope may require additional charges and may only be performed if scheduling and staffing allow.
Examples of services that may require additional pricing include:
Excessive buildup, grease, residue, or soil;
Heavy pet hair or pet-related cleanup;
Interior appliances;
Interior cabinets or drawers;
Interior windows;
Wall washing;
Baseboard detailing;
Post-construction residue;
Adhesive, paint, caulk, or sticker removal;
Excessive trash or debris removal;
Mold or biological contamination;
Hazardous materials;
Hoarding conditions; and
Any condition requiring substantially more labor than reasonably anticipated.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Quotes and estimates may be based on information provided by the Client, including photographs, property size, number of rooms, property type, service requested, and the reported condition of the property.
If the actual condition of the property or required scope materially differs from the information provided, TLCleaning Group LLC may revise the price before continuing the work.
We may also recommend additional services if necessary to achieve the requested result.
The Client will be informed when practical before substantial additional charges are incurred.
3. Scheduling and Appointment Times
Cleaning appointments are scheduled based on availability.
Arrival times may be provided as an estimated time or arrival window unless a specific time is expressly confirmed.
Occasional delays may occur because of traffic, prior appointments, weather, property access issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client of significant delays.
4. Property Access
The Client is responsible for ensuring that TLCleaning Group LLC can safely and promptly access the property at the scheduled service time.
Access may be provided through:
Client presence;
Door code;
Lockbox;
Property management access;
Key;
Concierge or front office access; or
Another arrangement approved in advance.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that access instructions are accurate and functional.
If our cleaning team cannot access the property, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation or lockout.
5. Lockouts and Inaccessible Properties
If we arrive for a scheduled appointment and cannot access the property through no fault of TLCleaning Group LLC, a lockout or cancellation fee may apply.
This may include situations involving:
Incorrect or nonworking door codes;
Missing keys;
Locked interior areas necessary to perform the agreed service;
Unavailable property representatives;
Security systems preventing entry;
Pets preventing safe access; or
Other access conditions not disclosed before arrival.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change.
Clients should provide at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling a scheduled cleaning appointment.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.
Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or lockouts may be subject to a fee of up to the full scheduled service amount, depending on the circumstances and costs incurred.
TLCleaning Group LLC reserves the right to waive cancellation charges at its discretion.
7. Recurring Cleaning Services
Recurring services may be scheduled weekly, biweekly, monthly, or according to another agreed schedule.
Recurring-service pricing may be based on the expectation that services will occur at the agreed frequency.
If appointments are repeatedly skipped, postponed, or extended beyond the normal service interval, additional cleaning time may be required and the service price may be adjusted.
Recurring services may be cancelled by either party unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.
8. Payment
Payment terms will be provided on the estimate, invoice, booking page, proposal, or service agreement.
Unless other written payment terms have been approved, payment is due at the time specified on the invoice or booking confirmation.
TLCleaning Group LLC may require:
A deposit;
A card on file;
Advance payment;
Payment upon completion; or
Other agreed payment arrangements.
Clients agree to provide valid and authorized payment information.
9. Late and Unpaid Balances
Past-due balances may result in suspension or cancellation of future services.
Where permitted by law and disclosed to the Client, TLCleaning Group LLC may assess reasonable late charges, returned-payment charges, collection costs, or other amounts associated with overdue invoices.
We reserve the right to decline future service until outstanding balances are paid.
10. Condition of the Property
Clients are responsible for accurately communicating the property's condition before service whenever reasonably possible.
If a property contains conditions substantially beyond what was disclosed or reasonably anticipated, TLCleaning Group LLC may:
Revise the price;
Adjust the scope;
Require additional time;
Reschedule the service;
Decline certain portions of the work; or
Stop service if conditions are unsafe.
Photographs may be taken to document significant pre-existing conditions, unusually heavy buildup, damage, or other issues relevant to the service.
11. Excessive Cleaning Conditions
Standard cleaning prices are based on properties requiring a reasonable level of cleaning consistent with the selected service.
Properties involving excessive buildup, neglect, residue, pet hair, grease, debris, staining, or other unusual conditions may require additional labor and charges.
TLCleaning Group LLC is not obligated to perform additional work beyond the approved scope without additional compensation.
12. Utilities
The Client must ensure that the property has working electricity and running water when those utilities are reasonably necessary to perform the scheduled cleaning.
If utilities are unavailable, we may be unable to complete some or all of the service.
In such cases, rescheduling charges or additional service charges may apply.
13. Pets
Clients must disclose pets or animals that may be present at the property.
Pets must be secured when necessary to allow our team to work safely and efficiently.
TLCleaning Group LLC is not responsible for a pet escaping when the pet has not been properly secured or when access instructions require doors to be opened repeatedly.
If an animal displays threatening or aggressive behavior, we may discontinue service until the animal is safely secured.
14. Valuables and Fragile Items
Clients should secure or remove:
Cash;
Jewelry;
Firearms;
Medication;
Important documents;
Collectibles;
Heirlooms;
Extremely fragile objects; and
Other high-value personal items.
The Client should notify TLCleaning Group LLC of any particularly delicate, unstable, valuable, or irreplaceable item that requires special handling.
We reserve the right not to clean or move objects that appear fragile, unstable, improperly mounted, damaged, or unsafe to handle.
15. Pre-Existing Damage
TLCleaning Group LLC is not responsible for damage that existed before service or results from ordinary deterioration, improper installation, defective materials, previous repairs, loose fixtures, unstable furniture, aging surfaces, or similar pre-existing conditions.
Examples may include:
Loose or damaged blinds;
Cracked fixtures;
Peeling paint;
Loose hardware;
Deteriorated grout or caulk;
Unsecured shelving;
Damaged flooring;
Worn finishes;
Poorly mounted décor; and
Appliances or fixtures already in disrepair.
Where practical, we may photograph significant pre-existing damage before beginning work.
16. Breakage and Damage Reporting
TLCleaning Group LLC takes reasonable care while performing cleaning services.
If we become aware that an item was accidentally damaged during service, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client.
Clients must report alleged damage as soon as reasonably possible after service, preferably within 24 hours, so the circumstances can be reviewed promptly.
The Client agrees to provide reasonable documentation, photographs, receipts, or other information needed to evaluate a claim.
TLCleaning Group LLC must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect or evaluate claimed damage before repairs or replacements are made whenever practical.
17. Limits on Certain Surfaces and Materials
Some surfaces, fixtures, finishes, flooring, stone, appliances, cabinetry, and other materials require specialized care.
The Client is responsible for notifying us of manufacturer restrictions or unusual care requirements that would not be reasonably apparent.
TLCleaning Group LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from inaccurate manufacturer information, undisclosed surface restrictions, pre-existing deterioration, defective materials, or improper installation.
18. Stains and Permanent Conditions
Cleaning does not guarantee complete removal of every stain, discoloration, odor, mark, mineral deposit, rust condition, adhesive, paint residue, or permanent surface defect.
Some conditions may be permanent or require specialized restoration beyond standard cleaning services.
We will make reasonable efforts consistent with the selected service but do not guarantee restoration to like-new condition.
19. Hazardous or Unsafe Conditions
TLCleaning Group LLC may refuse, stop, or limit work when conditions present a health, safety, legal, or environmental concern.
Examples include:
Human or animal waste beyond ordinary household conditions;
Blood or bodily fluids;
Needles or sharps;
Mold requiring remediation;
Pest infestations;
Hazardous chemicals;
Asbestos or suspected asbestos;
Illegal substances;
Dangerous structural conditions;
Active construction hazards;
Unsecured weapons; and
Aggressive animals.
Services involving hazardous or specialized remediation are not included unless expressly agreed to in writing.
20. Lifting and Moving Items
Our team is not required to lift, move, or reposition heavy furniture, appliances, equipment, or objects that may create a safety risk.
Areas underneath or behind heavy items will only be cleaned when safely accessible.
If the Client wants appliances or furniture moved, this must be discussed before service and may require additional pricing or specialized assistance.
21. Customer-Supplied Products or Equipment
If a Client requests that TLCleaning Group LLC use a product, chemical, tool, or equipment supplied by the Client, the Client assumes responsibility for suitability unless damage results from negligent use by our team.
We may refuse to use any product or equipment we consider unsafe, inappropriate, unlabeled, defective, or inconsistent with our procedures.
22. Satisfaction and Re-Clean Requests
We want Clients to be satisfied with the cleaning services provided.
If you believe an area included in the agreed scope was missed or not cleaned properly, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 24 hours after service.
We may request photographs or other information to evaluate the concern.
When appropriate, TLCleaning Group LLC may offer a reasonable opportunity to return and address the specific issue.
A re-clean opportunity may be provided instead of a refund.
Complaints made after additional occupants, contractors, maintenance personnel, pets, movers, or other persons have entered or used the property may be more difficult to verify.
23. Refunds
Cleaning services involve labor that cannot be returned once performed.
For this reason, completed cleaning services are generally not automatically refundable.
If a legitimate service issue occurs, TLCleaning Group LLC may, at its discretion and depending on the circumstances:
Return to correct the issue;
Provide a partial adjustment;
Provide a service credit; or
Issue a partial or full refund when appropriate.
Nothing in this section limits any rights the Client may have under applicable law.
24. Apartment Turnovers and Vacant Properties
For apartment turnover, move-out, move-in, or vacant-property cleaning, pricing assumes that the property is reasonably ready for cleaning unless otherwise agreed.
The property should generally be free of:
Personal belongings;
Contractor materials;
Excessive trash;
Large debris;
Furniture not included in the scope; and
Active maintenance or construction work that interferes with cleaning.
If contractors, maintenance teams, movers, or other parties enter the property after our cleaning is completed, TLCleaning Group LLC is not responsible for conditions created after completion.
Additional cleaning requested after other trades or occupants re-enter the property may be billed separately.
25. Post-Construction or Renovation Conditions
Standard cleaning services do not automatically include post-construction or renovation cleanup.
Construction dust, paint, adhesives, caulk, grout haze, stickers, debris, or other construction-related conditions may require specialized pricing and procedures.
Any post-construction cleaning must be specifically included in the approved scope.
26. Photographs and Service Documentation
TLCleaning Group LLC may take photographs before, during, or after service for legitimate business purposes such as:
Documenting property condition;
Documenting completed work;
Supporting quality-control reviews;
Addressing disputes;
Recording damage or unusual conditions; and
Confirming scope completion.
Photos taken for operational documentation will not automatically be used publicly for advertising.
Separate permission may be obtained before identifiable property photographs are used for marketing when appropriate.
27. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide accurate information about the property and requested service;
Provide safe and timely access;
Secure pets when necessary;
Remove or secure valuables and fragile items;
Notify us of known hazards;
Disclose unusual surface-care requirements;
Ensure necessary utilities are available;
Provide timely notice of cancellations or changes; and
Pay amounts due according to agreed payment terms.
28. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
TLCleaning Group LLC reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue service when reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include:
Unsafe working conditions;
Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward staff;
Nonpayment;
Repeated access problems;
Undisclosed hazardous conditions;
Requests outside our service capabilities;
Illegal activity;
Material misrepresentation concerning the property; or
Other circumstances making continued service unreasonable or unsafe.
Clients remain responsible for services already performed and other applicable charges.
29. Independent Service Terms
Commercial clients, property managers, builders, contractors, apartment communities, and other business customers may receive separate proposals, master service agreements, work orders, purchase orders, or contracts.
If a separate signed agreement conflicts with these Service Terms, the signed agreement will control to the extent of that conflict.
30. Changes to These Terms
TLCleaning Group LLC may update these Service Terms from time to time.
The version in effect when a service is booked or otherwise agreed upon will generally apply to that service unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
Updated terms may be posted on tlcleanco.com with a revised effective date.
31. Governing Law
These Service Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, subject to applicable federal law.
